Finance experience supporting business decision-making

I am a finance manager with over 15 years of experience in audit, management control and CFO roles, gained in industrial, international and group environments. I began my professional career in international audit firms, where I worked for six years as a senior auditor, including assignments involving listed companies.

I have held direct responsibilities across administration, finance, controlling, reporting, statutory financial statements, consolidation — including foreign subsidiaries in the UK, Japan, the USA and China — treasury and ESG, working alongside CEOs, shareholders, corporate bodies and Private Equity Funds.

Throughout my career, I have coordinated finance teams and managed budgeting and forecasting processes, group reporting, statutory and consolidated financial statements, extraordinary transactions, refinancing projects, corporate integrations and relationships with audit firms, boards of statutory auditors and internal audit functions.

I pay particular attention to governance, sustainability and risk oversight, which are becoming increasingly relevant also for SMEs. The integration of ESG principles and the adoption of organisational models pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 can represent, when addressed with a proportionate and pragmatic approach, concrete tools to strengthen internal organisation, improve controls, make decision-making processes more transparent and respond more effectively to the expectations of customers, banks, supply chains, investors and stakeholders.

I have also developed a specific focus on the innovation of Finance processes through Artificial Intelligence applications supporting reporting, management control, variance analysis, forecasting and decision-making processes. The objective is to make economic and financial information more timely, structured and readable, while maintaining professional oversight of data quality, analysis rules and the managerial interpretation of results.

I graduated in Economics with honours from the University of Florence and completed a Master’s degree in Finance and Management Control at the University of Pisa. I still collaborate in university-level training activities.

Alongside consulting, temporary and fractional assignments, I also consider full-time managerial projects in CFO / Finance Director roles, where they are consistent with the company’s size, complexity and development prospects.
